This resource is designed to help churches take the first steps in starting a disability ministry; from praying and understanding the needs of their community to building a caring team, providing training, and creating a safe and accessible environment. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Start small, serve faithfully, and trust God to provide the people, resources, and guidance needed to build a ministry where every person can belong and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Raising a child with a disability can feel overwhelming, but you are not alone. We believe every child is created with intention and has a unique purpose. Our mission is to walk alongside parents by offering encouragement, guidance, and access to resources that help their children thrive at every stage of life. Understanding the services available can be confusing—federal programs are generally consistent across the country, but local resources and supportsupports will vary from state to state. We are here to help you navigate federal services and connect you with the right programs and supports in your community so your child can succeed and live a meaningful, fulfilling life. We will seek to provide updates on federal support and resources as we become aware of those.
